POOJA THALI 1

You need for pooja thali is

Haldi, Kumkum,Roli, Diya,Agarbati, Bell,Doop ,Fruit ,,Mata ka shingar ka items( like bindi,bangle, dupatta , comb,sindoor etc) ,coconut & sweet
How To Decorate Pooja Thali :->
Take a thali of any material. The thali could be in various shapes like round, square,oval or any other.
Grease the thali with little oil by hand then put kumkum on it.With the help tooth pick make 'ohm' on it and sprinke the glitter of golden & silver colour. Put the puja accessories in the thali.
You can also decorate your puja thali with different rangoli colors or different accessories like bells, ribbons ,lace etc.
You can also decorate with banana leaves or with colored rice.
Now your decorated pooja thali is ready.

In above figure coconut is painted in white colour and make a face of devi & put mata ka duppta on top.

RAKHI MAKING



How to Make a Rakhi ?
Rakhi is the physical symbol of the emotions involved with the festival. The emotions of love, affection and care.
Material required
1. Silk ribbons (In above picture you need orange,green & white)
2. Cotton thread
3. Beads, sequins
4. Scissors
5. Glue

Take the silk ribbon (orange,green & white) and tie the knot of these three. Cut the round piece of white cloth & place the round cloth on the centre of the ribbon. Fold the orange,green & white ribbon. See in the above picture. Your Trianga rakhi is ready.

KALASH DECORATION FOR POOJA



Kalasa, is an indispensable element in important pujas associated with Hinduism. Kalasa means a pot to carry pure water. Brass or silver or miti ka Kalasa is usually used for poojas. Kalash symbolically represents the Goddess in most Puja.
In above picture we need for making kalash is :
Miti ka kalsash
color
Kumkuma
Water
Coconut
Mango leaves
Coins
Rice
Dried fruit
Flowers
Mirror
Roli (used in pooja)
Dhoop
Colored rice
Golden lace
To Make a Simple Kalash for Normal Puja :->
First clean the are with water where you are going to put kalash.
Then clean the pot thoroughly .
Paint with any colour.
Decorate with mirror and golden lace .
The pot is filled with pure water or water collected from rivers.
The Kalasa is placed in the puja area usually on a Rangoli or coloured rice.
Put coins, supari, dhoop , uncooked rice ,dried fruit & flower inside the pot.
Mango leaves are used to decorate the neck of the pot. The end tip of the mango leaves is pointed upwards.
Coconut decorated with dots of kumkuma, turmeric and sandalwood paste is placed on the mango leaves on the neck of the pot.
The eyes of the coconut should be seen on the top.
An unstitched cloth or thread is tied around the pot.
You can also use garlands or flowers to decorate the pot.
Now your kalash is ready for pooja. Put rangoli near by kalsah.

SALAD DECORATION







HOW TO DECORATE THE SALAD :->
In above picture you need rad dish, carrot, spring onion,onion, beet root, peas, salad leaves(lettus leaf),pa pita,tomato ,lemon and cabbage & toothpick. Grate the beet root, cabbage, carrot & rad dish.
Then first make village doll in this you need base of rad dish,put salad leaf with the help of tooth pick.Doll arms is made of carrot.Chair is made of rad dish,boat is made of papita & water is made of grated rad dish.In the above picture the theme of salad is park you can see hut made of carrot & peas, roof is made of cabbage and floor is made of grated carrot. Their is see-saw swing also which is made of rad dish and children is made of carrot . Cut the carrot in round thick slice. You can see chairs which is made of rad dish ,umbrella which is made of carrot & cabbage. Grass is made of grated cabbage. You can see some flowers which is made of tomato, carrot & some tree which is made of spring onion.Way of hut is made by grated beet root & bricks is made of carrot. Cut the carrot in thick slice then cut the slice in two pieces now your brick is ready. For crossing garden to lake you can make pull which is made of rad dish & stone is made of lemon.The boundary of park is made by onion.

CARDS MAKING

HOW TO MAKE A CARD:->
  • Take plane paper for making card.
  • Draw any design like scenery, figure, flower ,cartoon, god, some geometrical pattern etc.
  • First outline with black sketch pen or with dark pencil or with black gel pen.
  • Then rub it. It look clean.
  • Now color it with pastel color or wax colour or water colour or poster color etc.
  • Your card is ready. Now you can send to someone.

RANGOLI DESIGNS

WHAT IS RANGOLI ?
Rangoli is a colourful pattern made near the entrance to a house to welcome guests. Rangoli is row of colours. It is one of the most popular and traditional art forms in India. It is customary for Indian women to draw decorated feet of Laxmi – The Godess of weath, approaching her door bringing in good fortune for her devote family.Most of the Rangoli designs are flowers, leaves such as coconut, lotus, the animals such as cows, elephants and the birds like swans. There are geometrical pattern as well. We can also make rangoli by dot pattern or by free hand pattern.

HOW TO CREATE THE RANGOLI DESIGNS ?
  1. Before making rangoli clean the area with wet cloth.
  2. After cleaning the area choose a design that you want to draw. During the festival of diwali you can get stencils,moulds to make rangoli from market.
  3. Mark the center point of rangoli. Tie the chalk with thread then place the one end of thread in center point put the thumb their then draw the circle with chalk.
  4. With a piece of chalk, then draw the outline of design. In above figure design is made by free hand drawing. You can also see design from a book of rangoli designs, available at book shops and stationary shops normally.
  5. Decide about the color scheme .Now it's time to fill in the outline with rangoli powder. Pick up some powder with your thumb and index finger and fill in the design by rubbing the two fingers together and sprinkling the powder on the floor and start from center.Go on filling the entire pattern.
  6. Take care to sprinkle the powder carefully don't let powders of two different colours merge with each other.
    Finally your rangoli is ready.
